Pot Magnets - Countersunk Hole

Neodymium pot magnets (also called mounting magnets, or cup magnets) with countersunk holes are designed for screws to be used for permanent positioning, leaving the screw head flush with the magnet. These high strength rare earth magnets have a mild steel cap for extra protection against chipping or cracking. Due to the protective cover on these pot magnets, they are single sided magnets which provide an easy, non-destructive solution for attaching and suspending objects.

If you are looking for a pot magnet designed for flat screws or bolts, take a look at our Straight Center Hole Pot Magnets.

Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
