Ceramic Disc Magnets (Ferrite)

Ceramic disc magnets (sometimes called Ferrite magnets) are widely used for crafts and hobbies, school science projects, and even physical therapy. The low cost of these magnets makes them a great choice for home use. Ceramic discs are available in many sizes. When assembling products or handcrafts, we recommended using an expoxy glue and make sure the surface is clean and dry. Other applications include souvenirs, fridge magnets, whiteboard magnets and educational magnets. These are medium strength magnets. If you need a very strong magnet, check out Neodymium discs.

Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
