This neodymium magnetic strip measures 25 mm (W) x 1.5 mm (T) x 1 meter (L). It has a 3M 9448 adhesive backing and is the strongest of our flexible magnetic tapes. It has a pull force of 450 g/cm².
This product is ideal for use where Ferrite tapes lack enough magnetic strength. Typical uses are for securing and displaying heavy items (approx. 2 kg), banners and signage. In these circumstances a glue like Selleys Kwik Grip may need to be applied as the 3M 9448 adhesive isn't suitable for very heavy weighted objects.
Magnetic strips are suitable for attaching items to vertical surfaces cleanly and safely. When you use magnets instead of nails, screws, or other adhesives it is much easier to move items around on the wall and reduces the need to repair holes or wall damage. For professionals requiring damage free, hidden or secret ways to attach artwork to walls, for the home handy person, for school projects, these simple and safe magnetic strips are a great solution.
I applied small lengths of 3M magnetic tape to back of photos printed on to aluminium then attached to a wall I painted with magnetic paint. Whole wall is magnetic and photos can be placed anywhere and moved easily. Brilliant. Will definitely buy more tape as needed.

We dressed up a 1966 Mustang as an American police car to pick up Santa. The magnetic strips were fantastic as we could place emblems/signs on the car without damaging the paintwork. I also have them on the back of the original number plates of a 1959 Morris Minor (for car shows). Excellent product. Thank you AMF.
The job was to hold iPad mini on metallic surface - this is the only magnetic that is strong enough (2 strips). Top stuff.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description.
