Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite disc magnet (North Pole Marked) has a diameter of 22mm and a thickness of 3mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1995 Gauss and a pull force of 390 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10016.

Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:

Our ferrite disc magnets come in a variety of sizes, suitable for a variety of applications such as crafts, souvenirs, fridge magnets, whiteboard magnets & graphics.

Graphic printing companies produce high quality bold and beautiful images often in large formats. Graphic products can transform a shopfront, an office space or a room in a home from dullsville to wowsville. Many of these companies offer to create, print and mount the images fit for purpose.

Ferrite disc magnets, especially these 22mm x 3mm models with a pull force of only 0.15 kg play useful roles in the delivery of turnkey graphic operations. The relatively weak pull force in the application of graphic printing is highly desirable. Not everything needs to be built like a battleship. On the contrary, releasing at a known force is not only helpful but often necessary.

Small ferrite disc magnets can hold images and materials in place during the laser cutting and digital printing processes, releasing at known pressure when required. Similarly for mounting and laminating of the images, ferrite disc magnets provide a secret or hidden fixing and holding method that secures the images for display.

Magnets allow for adjustments to a final position without the penalty of breaching the material or the image. Whatever the material the images are mounted on, recycled board, foam, flute core, light box displays, timber or Perspex, magnetic engagement is both removable and permanent.

The secret fixing properties of magnets highlight the article being displayed, not the method by which it is held in place. This alluring method of display highlights the availability of the product or service, enhancing the instinct to impulse purchase. The simple release properties of magnets allow relative ease of deconstruction, for cleaning, servicing or replacing component parts. The magnets allow for reassembly of the graphic design with similar ease, ready for display again, as if for the first time.

Handmade fridge magnets

I’m a glass artist and I occasionally make small items, one being fridge magnets. They are quite heavy and require a strong magnet. The Ferrite Disc Magnets are perfect.

EMF protection

I recently purchased 105 ferrite magnets from magnet.com.au so I could make some rolls of repelling magnets for EMF protection. I have severe EHS (ElectroHypersensitivity). The wireless frequencies from mobile phones specifically cause horrific inflammation (classified as Fibromyalgia) in my lymphatic system right through the entire upper body. This effect doesn't go away once I move away, and it has taken weeks to months with repeated deep lymphatic massage, while I scream and cry into a pillow, to recover. These episodes became so traumatic for both myself and my partner that I adopted an avoidant lifestyle and stayed away from public places. This has been very isolating and difficult. I saw Tony's video from herbsplusbreadworks on youtube on using magnets for EMF protection. I didn't hold much hope as I sleep on a north magnetic field and I've spent thousands on so many different things with very minimal help, this just seemed like another one that wouldn't help. But it was economical enough to try it, magnets and gaffa tape and a bit of determination in binding repelling magnets together which isn't so easy. So I made one roll and noticed it helped stop the pain in my wrist where the computer mouse was when I placed the roll under my wrist. So I made 3 more rolls and tried it out. We went to a Mexican restaurant and sat to eat, which we never do because these places are usually full of people on phones. 3 people were on phone calls and I couldn't feel the pain at all.…
