Violin Cabinet
The idea for the shape of this cabinet was inspired by the shape of a metronome, the tapered shape of the early metronome becoming a good shape for an instrument display case. The doors swing slightly upward, and are closed using AMF Magnets.

Hi Michael,
What an absolutely brilliant and creative project! A violin cabinet inspired by the shape of a metronome is such a clever design concept, and the connection between musical instruments and their display case is truly inspired.
We're delighted to hear that our 6mm x 3mm neodymium disc magnets are working perfectly for your cabinet door closure system. These compact magnets are ideal for custom display cases where you need reliable magnetic closure without compromising the aesthetic of your beautiful woodwork.
The upward-swinging door mechanism sounds like a thoughtful design choice that would showcase the violin beautifully while keeping it secure. It's wonderful to see our magnets being used in such artistic and functional applications.
Thank you for sharing this fantastic project with us and other customers. Your violin cabinet sounds like a stunning piece that any musician would be proud to display their instrument in.
