The Multipurpose Switch Magnet is a versatile and robust solution for lifting, positioning, and securing metal objects across industrial, manufacturing, and DIY applications. With an impressive 300kg pulling force and an ON/OFF switch mechanism, this magnet offers precision, safety, and reliability in demanding tasks.
Key Features:
Powerful Performance: Delivers a 300kg pulling force, ensuring a firm grip on heavy metal objects.
ON/OFF Switch Mechanism: Equipped with two gears (ON and OFF) for controlled magnetism. Simply press down before rotating for seamless operation.
Durable Construction: Built entirely from metal, featuring an aluminium handle and cover, SUS304 stainless steel shaft, and a low-carbon steel base for exceptional strength and longevity.
Safe and Easy Handling: When switched OFF, the magnet becomes completely non-magnetic, allowing metal chips and debris to fall away safely without risk of injury.
Multipurpose Applications:
Lifting and Positioning: Ideal for securely handling metal sheets and components.
Welding and Machining: Precise placement and holding during welding or cutting tasks.
Automation and Robotics: Enhances efficiency in automated systems.
Metal Separation and Liquid Filtration: Efficiently separates metal debris in filtration processes.
DIY Projects and Repairs: Perfect for woodworking, car repairs, mounting devices, and more.
⚠️ Important Note: The thickness of the steel surface significantly affects suction strength. For thin or large steel surfaces, consider using multiple magnets for optimal performance.
Make your operations faster, safer, and more efficient with this Multipurpose Switch Magnet – a powerhouse tool for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Multi-functional Magnetic Switch Usage Method
(1) First, confirm that the handle of the lifting ring is in the closed (OFF) state. Use the assist handle in conjunction with the lifting ring handle (the assist handle screw is screwed into the threaded opening of the lifting ring handle). First, use the handle of the switch magnet with the lifting ring handle, and screw the handle into the threaded opening of the lifting ring handle.
(2) After installation, rotate the panel according to the instructions by 90 degrees to enter the first gear. Then press down and rotate 90 degrees to enter the second gear. At this time, the magnetism is maximised and the permeability is also maximised (be careful for safety). Due to limited strength, if the gears cannot be opened, you can skip the first gear and directly press and rotate 180 degrees to the second gear (be careful for safety).
(3) Turn on the second gear, the lifting ring handle will automatically spring up and lock. At this time, all five working surfaces have magnetism, it is in a fully working state. Then, fasten the catch ring of the fishing rope and remove the assist handle. You can use it to fish the iron objects you need in the required area.
Maintenance and Safety Instructions
(1) The strong magnetic switch magnet must be used within the rated lifting range. Do not overload to prevent accidents.
(2) The thickness and surface quality of the lifted workpiece will affect the lifting capacity of the strong magnetic switch magnet. Therefore, before use, please refer to the performance curve diagram and then determine the actual lifting capacity of the switch magnet.
(3) The material of the workpiece also affects the lifting capacity of the switch magnet. For low-carbon steel workpieces, the lifting capacity can be taken as 100%, for medium-carbon steel + workpieces it is 95%, for high-carbon steel workpieces it is 90%, for low-alloy steel it is 75%, for cast iron it is 50%.
(4) When installing the rotating handle, place the switch magnet on the steel plate and do so. In this way, when the switch magnet is in the magnetic state, the handle can rotate freely. Otherwise, even with great force, it is difficult to turn the handle.
(5) When lifting the workpiece, place the switch magnet at the center of the workpiece's gravity position. Then move the handle from the release position (OFF) to the holding position (ON), check if the spring of the handle is popped up and locked, and only then can the lifting be performed. The crane should move smoothly to avoid excessive vibration, causing the lifted workpiece to fall and causing an accident.
(6) If you need to lift cylindrical workpieces, the U-shaped groove at the bottom of the switch magnet should be in contact with the workpiece. However, the lifting capacity is generally 30% to 50% of the rated lifting capacity (the size of the diameter is related to the lifting capacity).
(7) After lifting the workpiece, press the button at the top of the handle to separate the handle from the positioning mechanism, then move the handle to the reset position to release, make the switch magnet in the closed state, and then remove the switch magnet.
(8) Environmental conditions for using the switch magnet:
1. The ambient temperature should not exceed 80 degrees Celsius.
2. There should be no severe vibration and impact.
3. The surrounding medium should not have corrosive agents that erode metals.
