This ceramic (ferrite) block magnet measures 30 mm (L) x 9 mm (W) x 3 mm (H) and has a magnetic pull force of 450 grams.

Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description.
