Product Description:

This neodymium disc measures 6 mm (D) x 1.5 mm (H) and has a gold colored coating. The North pole is marked with a shallow dimple. It has a magnetic flux reading of 2818 Gauss and a pull force of 400 g.

Motorcycle speedometer sensor

I attached one of these powerful little magnets to the front disk of a motorcycle and used it in conjunction with a magnetic proximity sensor to give a speed readout. Works great. These magnets are small enough to use anywhere you wanted to monitor or measure rotation this way,
